all mine

Today I treated myself to a gift that I have wanted for well over 15 years. I bought it second hand off of a massage client of mine and I love it. I use to peddle all over the East End of Charleston with an antiquated two wheeler that was so sad that my British neighbor use to snicker every time I rode by. I will consider this my combination sobriety/Christmas/birthday gift to myself. Now all I need is some bitchen urban cyclery wear and I'm all set.

Side note: please disregard the nasty pet stains on the hardwood by the bike. That's what I found when I pulled up the carpet last year.

Ride on the wind, Missy. But wear a helmet.

I wish I lived down the street and we could ride together.

Oh god...she'll be peddling her as around town again...

Good for you. We should make a habit of buying ourselves gifts.

I used to do a lot of long distance cycling. But the dangers of riding in a non-bike friendly state finally made me quit. But I still love it. And I love your bike. Be safe out there.

Oh, she's a beauty. I tell my daughter all the time that bike riders are the good guys. Good for you!

Is that second shot in a do-it-yourself car wash? That's great!

Elizabeth: Indeed it is a drive-through car wash. The bike had been sitting in the owner's garage forever and needed a bath. Or a baptism. I'm not sure which.
